Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is famous for her character Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom" and has earned lots of attention. Calvano has a family in California she was initially attracted to competitive gymnastics. She later decided to pursue an acting career. Her first screen appearance was in 2010 in a segment of CBS program 'NCIS'. She made her big-screen debut one year later with the biographical film "J Edgar". She became one of the best young actors on the scene in the following decades. The year she was born, she won a nomination for the Young Artist Award, Best Performance by an Actor in the Younger Years of Actress in a Television Series for her part in the show "NCIS". In 2013 she was also nominated for another Young Artist Award for her guest appearance in Disney XD's comedy series, 'Kickin' It'. Calvano appeared in a number of episodes of "Mom" in its 4th season. She played the main role in the initial three seasons of the show. Her outing in 'Mom' earned her an award called the Gracie Allen Award for Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star in the year 2015.
